iTaekwondo is a reference application designed to assist students learning the martial art of Taekwondo (Tae Kwon Do). The material in iTaekwondo is based on the World Taekwondo Federation style. Pattern maps are available by rotating to landscape from the step-by-step view for each pattern.

TERMINOLOGY:
Over 150 terms are available in iTaekwondo.
Terminology is supplied for different Taekwondo categories (such as body parts, stances, strikes etc) with the ability to translate all or individual terms within that category. English terms are displayed in black and Korean terms in red.

Audio of each term pronounced in Korean as spoken by a native Korean can be played.

SELF DEFENCE:
Set self defence movements are provided based on the various belt levels. A description of the self defence movement and a video are available to assist in learning the self defence.

Big big thank you to Marcus Vinicius, 1st Dan Blackbelt, Instructor of Baby Barioni complex in Brazil for the Portuguese translation!

DISCLAIMER
Please note, this program is not a replacement for proper Taekwondo training, it should be used in conjunction with a training schedule. Never use real knives when practicing the relevant self defence moves and use caution at all times to avoid injury.

Pros and cons of iTaekwondo app for iPhone and iPad

iTaekwondo app good for

Très bien mais le nombre de mouvement dépend des maîtres et style de taekwondo! Attention. :) Really good but the number of moves depends of the master and taekwondo style. Careful :)
Congratulations, this is the best software so far. Im 1st dan black belt here in Brazil and it´s been very helpful to use iTaekwondo to show all the poomsé (taeguk) and another things to my students. Keep up the good work !
This is a fantastic app that is helping me to practice my patterns at home. To improve it even more, Id love to see you include kyorugi strategies and some conditioning routines.
Really well done app. It contains the patterns up to 4th dan. The app developper even included a suggestion to have a video insert to show whats happening when the instructor has his back facing the camera. The ability to view a video as well as view still images of any pattern makes this the ultimate learning tool as one can see clearly the stances/blocks/attacks and view the transition between moves. I am a current practioner at the 2nd dan level and I highly recommend this app to anybody practicing Tae Kwon Do (from white to black belts)!!! You will be extremely satisfied with your purchase.
Its a great app that complements my learning patterns in the dojang. It does not replace the experience of training at a dojang with an instructor, but is a great tool to assist that process. Great app when used properly!
Thank you so much for the update, which included the correct pronunciation and 한글. Im really happy I bought this app now. I am a Canadian living in South Korea now, and have been doing Taekwondo for the past two years. I really like how clear the videos are in this application, and reading how things are supposed to be done in English are great too.

Some bad moments
